Statement from Mayor Dan Rivera on South Lawrence Gas Leak

Lawrence- September 27th, 2019, There is a confirmed level one gas leak in South Lawrence. City of Lawrence Fire and Police have responded to the gas leak immediately. Evacuations have begun.  The Wetherbee School will be closed. Lawrence Catholic Academy will be closed. All other Lawrence Public Schools will remain open.
