Recycling Bins… Are free for the residents of Lawrence and can be picked up at the Recycling Office or the Department of Public Works at City Hall, on the second floor. These should be used to hold plastics, cans, glass, tin, aluminum, paper, newspaper, boxes and mixed paper.

NO FOOD, please.
 

The City of Lawrence DPW Yard Drop-Off Recycling Center Opening from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM second and fourth Saturdays of each month from May 2011 through October 2011 at 1 Auburn Street (Off Hampshire Street).

The DPW Drop-Off Center will be open for yard waste disposal;
2nd & 4th Saturdays
August dates: 13th & 27th
September dates: 10th & 24th
October 8th & 22th
8:00am to 12:00 noon

**Proof of residency required

The following items are banned from disposal in Massachusetts. This means they are handled in a special way and cannot be put out with the regular trash.
