Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the highest quality drinking water and wastewater collection services to our ratepayers and stakeholders alike, protecting public health and safety; all the while maintaining some of the lowest rates in the Commonwealth. The Lawrence Water & Sewer Department is committed to ensuring environmental stewardship through a combination of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency upgrades. We encourage stakeholder involvement and seek to maintain transparency and open channels of communication between the Department and the community we serve.

The Water Department is pleased to present the New Customer Portal. This Portal allows our customers to better manage their water consumption and even alert them to potential issues.
