[ARCHIVED] Suspicious Vehicle Call Leads to Arrests, Firearm and Drugs Seized

LAWRENCE

Officers Diego Murrillo, Charelis Rivera, Francis Nova, Shaun Gravel, and Leo Silvera of the Lawrence Police Patrol Division responded to a report of a parked motor vehicle on Newbury St with two non-responsive males in it.  Upon arrival both males were alert however appeared disoriented.  The Officers observed an altoids container with narcotics in it in plain sight as they were assessing the males’ condition.   Both males refused medical attention from Lawrence General Hospital EMS.   As Officers searched the car for more narcotics, Officer Murrillo recovered a loaded semi-automatic firearm from the front pocket of one of the males.  Along with the narcotics and firearm the Officers recovered a large amount of cash and drug paraphernalia. 

 Ernie Maisonet age 47 of Lawrence and Angel Rosa age 55 also of Lawrence were arraigned in Lawrence District Court on various charges including firearms and drug related charges.
