LAWRENCE

Officer Jose Nunez of the Lawrence Police Department Patrol Division responded along with Officer Eduardo De La Cruz of the Community Policing Division to a Willow Street address for a report of a 14 year old juvenile male causing a disturbance.  Upon arrival, the Officers encountered the juvenile and his father, who was unhappy with his son’s recent behavior.  As a part of their investigation, the Officers recovered a loaded firearm and narcotics.  After interviewing the juvenile in the presence of his father, he confessed that both the firearms and narcotics belonged to him.

The Juvenile was arraigned in Essex County Juvenile Court in Lawrence charged with firearms related charges, as well as drug possession charges.
