Early this morning Lawrence Police responded to a report of shots fired at Chimi Truck located near the intersection of Broadway and Essex Street. As Officers were on scene investigating the incident, information was obtained that an individual was driven to the Lawrence General Hospital with a superficial gunshot wound to the leg. This isolated incident was a result of an altercation between two individuals who were in line at the Chimi Truck. This matter remains under investigation by Lawrence Police.
