[ARCHIVED] Four Arrested in bouched Robbery Attempt

Victims Alerts Officer on a nearby Motor Vehicle Stop

LAWRENCE

On Tuesday August 21st 2018, Officer Jose Nunez, of the Lawrence Police Patrol Division, while conducting a motor vehicle stop on Bennington Street was approach by a male who stated that an individual was attempting to rob him of his cell phone on Sunset Ave. The male stated that the individual had a black object that appeared to be a firearm. Officer Nunez passed this information onto to the Lawrence Police Dispatch, and provided a description of the suspect’s vehicle, a license plate, and stated that there were three other individuals in the vehicle with the suspect.  Moments later, Officer Joshua Waller, of the Methuen Police Department who was working a construction detail in the area, informed dispatch that he had located the vehicle, and was attempting to stop it on Sunset Ave. Several units arrived and conducted a felony stop. Two black BB guns were recovered in the vehicle.  Both weapons could have easily been mistaken as firearms.

Arrested were:

            James Watson age 24 of Lawrence charged with Attempt to Commit a Crime (Robbery).

            Taleyah Bohen age 20 of Nashua NH charged with Threat to Commit a Crime (Robbery)

            Jade  Haggett age 33 of Nashua NH charged with Threat to Commit a Crime (Robbery)        

Paul . Silvera age 39 of Lawrence charged with Furnishing a False Identification to Law    Enforcement
