[ARCHIVED] Man Charged with Armed Robbery after Internet Purchase Exchange

Following an investigation by Lawrence Police Detectives Paul MacMillan and Kevin Nigohosian, an arrest warrant was issued for Sabad Urbina age 20 of Haverhill  stemming from an armed robbery, which took place in Melvin and Oxford Street area.  This robbery took place during an internet purchase transaction, which was arranged through Facebook page.  The victim a 17 year old Lawrence male had posted that he had a PS4 for sale.  Based on the information investigators were  able obtain from the victim they were able to identify  Urbina . He later  turned himself in at the Haverhill Police Station.    He was arraigned in Lawrence District Court charged with armed robbery.

 There has been an Internet Purchases Safety Zone established at the front of the Police Station.  The LPD strongly urges individuals to conduct these transactions there.
