[ARCHIVED] Missing Lawrence Teen Reunited with Family in North Carolina

Lawrence Police Department received a report that a 13 year old female had taken an Uber from a Lawrence address to a Raleigh North Carolina address.  Officer Luis Olivo of the Patrol Division began the initial investigation, and was able obtain the vehicles registration through information provided by the female’s mother.  Officer Olivo obtained the registered owner’s address which was in Woburn, and with the assistance of the Woburn Police was able to obtain the driver’s phone number.  He was assisted by Detective Paul Aliano who contacted Uber and filed a 51A. 

Officer Olivo contacted the driver, and instructed him to drive to the Raleigh North Carolina address, as well as the Raleigh North Carolina Police Department to arrange to have an officer at the address  waiting for the Uber.   Officer Olivo coordinated with the female’s mother to arrange for the female’s aunt who resides in the Raleigh area to custody of the female.    With the assistance of the Woburn, Raleigh NC Police Departments  the 13 year was hand safely over to her aunt in North Carolina
