LAWRENCE
Earlier Today, The Lawrence Police Departments Street
Narcotic Unit, working in conjunction with the MA State Police, NH State Police
and the FBI Gang Task Force, executed an arrest for a Male Suspect in the Tower
Hill Area of the City of Lawrence. This
Male Suspect is the target of an ongoing Narcotics Investigation. This Male Suspect was arrested without incident
and charged with Trafficking of Heroin over 200 Grams. He was then transported to LPD for booking
procedures. As a result of this
investigation and arrest, Narcotics Detectives recovered approximately 530
Grams of Heroin with a street value of approximately $20,000.
The Lawrence Police is grateful for collaborative operations
like todays, and remains committed to work with State and Federal Law
Enforcement Agencies to combat the opioid epidemic.
