On Saturday March 30th , at approximately 6:30 PM, Lawrence Police responded to an incident which took place at a Hampshire Street residence involving a report of teens shooting a BB gun from a porch. Two females from Lawrence, ages 6 and 16, were struck. The 6-year-old female was treated on scene by EMT’s from Lawrence General Hospital, and transported by ambulance to that facility. She was later transferred to a Boston hospital.
Lawrence Police Detective Patrick Noonan conducted an investigation during which several witnesses were interviewed. Based on the information obtained in these interviews an arrest warrant was issued for a 13 year old juvenile male from Lawrence. He was arrested and arraigned in Lawrence Juvenile Court and charged with Assault and Battery and BB Gun related charges.
