Moments later Lt. Guerrero spotted an individual fitting the suspect’s description coming from the rear of a building on Cross Street. He took the suspect into custody without incident. The suspect was positively identified by witnesses. After being afforded his Miranda rights, the suspect confessed to both robberies.
