[ARCHIVED] Quality of Life Directed Patrols Yelds in 11 Arrest

LAWRENCE

As part of the Department’s continued effort to address “Quality of Life” issues for business owners and residents the Department has instituted directed patrols, focusing on areas where quality of life issues have been raised.

On two separate occasions Officers Carlos Garcia and Luis Olivo of the Early Nights Patrol Shift were assigned in a plain clothes capacity to address quality of life issues in the Broadway business area. These directed patrols were very successful, as the Officers made 11 arrests.

The following individuals have been arraigned in Lawrence District Court.

Antonio Romero, 28, Lawrence, Trespassing

Reginald Love, 38, Lawrence, Trespassing

John Murphy, 53, Homeless, Trespassing

Grace Azzi, 40, Lawrence, Trespassing

Phillip Follis, 44, Haverhill, Trespassing & Warrant: Check, Utter False

Eudys Santos, 32, Lawrence, Warrants: Equipment Violation, Receiving, Unlicensed Operation

Luis Perez, 37, Lawrence, Trespassing & Warrant: Larceny

Lisa Kelley, 25, Lawrence, Trespassing, Drinking in public, & A&B on police officer

Jose Castro, 55, Lawrence, Drug Possession Class B, Trespassing, Drinking in public

Brook Munday, 37, Lawrence, Warrants: Assault to rob & compensation to obtain parole/pardon

Luis Perez, 37. Lawrence, Warrant: Larceny
