The Lawrence Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit, a combined unit of the Gang Unit and Street Narcotics Unit, conducted a prostitution sting. This is part of the Department’s ongoing effort to aggressively combat all quality of life issues in the City. During the operation a female police officer posed as prostitute, The operation was conducted for two hours in the late morning early afternoon hours. All individuals were charged with Sexual Conduct for a Fee (Solicitation)
