LAWRENCE MURDER SUSPECT TO BE ARRAIGNED TODAY
Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett and Lawrence
Police Chief Roy Vasque announced that police arrested a suspect in the
homicide of a 24-year old female whose body was found in the Spicket River on
Tuesday.
Police arrested Giovanni Lebron, (DOB: 12/22/1994), of
Lawrence last night. He is expected to be arraigned today in Lawrence
District Court for murder.
On Tuesday, July 23rd at approximately 12:49 pm,
Lawrence Police responded to a call reporting a body in the Spicket River near
Manchester Street Park. MSP Dive Team recovered the body of a 24-year old
homeless female. (Her name is withheld pending family notification.)
Investigators determined she was the victim of a homicide.
The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
