JAG18 Grant: The Lawrence Police Department has been notified by the Bureau of Justice Assistance of the City of Lawrence’s eligibility to apply for the FY2018 Justice Assistance Grant in the amount of $62,320.  The Lawrence Police Department proposes to utilize the grant funds to purchase internal cameras and related equipment (server, etc.) to upgrade/replace the camera monitoring system within the Police Department.  This purchase will enhance the Department’s transparency, accountability, and officer safety.  Please contact Amanda Wall at awall@lawpd.com or Lieutenant Sean Burke at sburke@lawpd.com if you have any questions regarding this grant application.
