To all residents of Lawrence, MA: 

 

 

Mayor Brian A. DePeña and the Department of Inspectional Services of the City of Lawrence MA, announce the launch of the Campaign: "A Sustainable Lawrence for All”.  

 

With this awareness plan for our residents, it seeks to obtain effective results on how garbage and other solid wastes should be managed, yards cleaning and front of your property, as well as in businesses in our city to provide reliable information on changes in municipal ordinances that regulate the process for intelligent management of garbage and recycling. 

 

As of Friday, June 30, 2023, residences, as well as commercial premises that are caught violating the ordinances that regulate the cleaning processes of our city and/or disposing of garbage in unauthorized places, will be fined up to $300. 

 

Help us keep our city clean, safe, and healthy. Please, avoid fines, and don't litter on our streets.
